Good Grief -- Melania Trump "Accomplishments"

My brain can't stop spinning.  I woke up Wednesday morning at 2:00 AM with the thought that Melania Trump is our new first lady.

Then I thought about all of her accomplishments:

• Academic Fraud
• Plagiarism
• Being unintentionally funny
• Immigration Fraud
• Wearing (and not) pretty clothes
• Irony

I simply cannot wrap my mind around the fact that this puts her in the company of Martha Washington, Dolly Madison, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jacqueline Kennedy, Nancy Reagan, Laura Bush and, gasp, Michelle Obama.

What a Small God Mike Pence worships

What a small, stupid god Mike Pences calls upon. I was unimpressed, but now I loathe you, Mike Pence. I would not worship a such a wimpy, foolish god. I'd rather  eat Brussels sprouts .

In Defense of Teachers

Surprise, surprise, surprise:  Christie Hates Teachers .  I'm pretty sure Christie would say he differentiates the union from the individual teachers because everyone loves teachers, right? So Christie will make himself look "tough" by  punching teachers (mostly women Trickle-Down Feminism) in the face.  Ugh.

What Christie ignores is this:  a teacher's working conditions are the learning conditions of our own children. Teachers know this because they live it daily.  As for me, I care most about my students and my subjects.  My union makes sure I have enough resources to be effective.  That is what my union does for me and that is why I support it.  Perhaps Christie, who wants to be president, is projecting uglier motives and accidentally revealing his own heart.  At any rate, I know a playground bully when I see one.

I gave up hate for Lent. This story Tucker and Buckley, Oh the Entitlement is trying me sorely. I can't imagine thinking this, much less writing it in an email. What an odious little, desperate jerk.
